Welcome back to Talon Talks! We don’t want to keep you waiting, we know you’re excited, so let’s get started.
Trouble in paradise for these White Lotus stars?
The White Lotus season three has come and gone, and while many are still recovering from the jaw-dropping finale, some are theorizing that something went down between Aimee Lou Wood and Walton Goggins, who play Chelsea and Rick, two polar opposites who are in a relationship. Whatever has been happening between the two, it’s definitely more than a simple on-set fling
Let’s provide some context: Goggins is married, and he has been with director Nadia Conners since 2011. Wood, however, is single. Now there’s currently nothing that proves the two were actually having a fling, so don’t make any assumptions.
Instagram stalkers took note that neither follow each other anymore, despite the fact that Goggins posted a twelve-picture photo dump of basically just him and Wood. A part of his caption read, “Thank you Aimee Lou for being my partner… a journey I will never forget.” Despite whatever may have gone down, to the press, they’ve both said nothing but positive comments about the other.
So why do so many people think something went down between them? Well, actor Jason Issacs, who played near-family-murderer and family patriarch Timothy Ratliffe, hinted that something went down on set between some of his castmates, telling Vulture, “Some people got very close, there were friendships that were made and friendships that were lost… They say in the show, ‘What happens in Thailand stays in Thailand,’ but there’s an off-screen White Lotus as well, with fewer deaths but just as much drama.”
While it’s unclear what actually happened between Goggins and Wood, we guess it’s true that ‘what happens in Thailand stays in Thailand.’

Eric Dane diagnosed with ALS
Former Grey’s Anatomy star Eric Dane announced on Thursday that he has been diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), weeks after calling off his divorce with Rebecca Gayheart and days before beginning filming for Euphoria season three. Dane previously portrayed Mark Sloan (McSteamy) in the medical drama, and currently plays Cal Jacobs in “Euphoria.” ALS is a neurodegenerative disease that impacts the motor neurons in the brain and spinal cord. Remember the ALS ice bucket challenge?
With ALS currently having no cure, many fans and co-stars of Dane’s have expressed their sympathy for the actor. Dane made it clear that he has no current plans to end his acting career, and will remain in the cast of Euphoria and other films for the foreseeable future.

Coachella turns political
Coachella 2025 (weekend one) has come and gone, and for the most part, the annual music festival has been fairly tame. This year, though, multiple artists have added political aspects to their sets.
Green Day, and the band’s lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong. made a couple lyric changes that had the crowd cheering. In the band’s opener “American Idiot,” Armstrong repeated a lyric change that the band had made at a performance on New Year’s Eve: “I’m not a part of a redneck agenda” became “I’m not a part of a MAGA agenda.” Later, in “Jesus of Suburbia,” he changed the line “runnin’ away from pain when you’ve been victimized” to “runnin’ away from pain like the kids from Palestine, tales from another broken home.” The reference to the Israel-Palestine war had the attendees cheering even louder, as Armstrong took the moment in on the stage.
Another political statement was seen with Clairo, as before her set, Senator Bernie Sanders was called to the stage and made a surprise speech. Sanders said that Trump is incredibly wrong about climate change, even claiming that Trump believes climate change to be a hoax. He also made pro-choice comments and mentioned the war in Gaza before calling Clairo to the stage.
These political statements were fairly bold. Bravo to Green Day and Clairo for standing their ground.
