On Friday, April 4th, the Juniors of DHS got to celebrate their prom at the Black Swan Country Club in Georgetown, MA. The theme of the dance was the Great Gatsby, and the decorations were filled with gold, black, and red colors. Many attendees followed the theme and wore impressive Great Gatsby inspired attire.
The prom started with a dinner that included pasta, salad, sliders, chicken fingers, and french fries. The dinner was very good, but it was short lived, as the dance floor was quickly filled. The juniors were on the dance floor the whole night, and also enjoyed the photo booth and the complementary soda drinks provided.
The prom overlooked the Black Swan golf course, which made a great background for pictures and gave students a space to cool down after having fun. Everyone looked great and really brought the prom to life, which made for many unforgettable memories.
We would like to give a special thank you to the junior class officers; Jack Chronis, Dailin Martinez, DeAnna Figueiredo, Josie Vogel, and our class adviser, Ms. O’Neil, for making this night so perfect for all the attendees.
