
Rock and roll icon, Ozzy Osbourne, died at the age of 76 on July 22nd. With his career beginning as lead singer of rock band, Black Sabbath, and progressing into his own solo career, he gained one of the biggest fan bases of all time. His double induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame – once with Black Sabbath in 2006, and then again as a solo artist in 2024 – was a major recognition of his everlasting impact on heavy metal and rock music.
His farewell concert in his hometown of Birmingham, England, on July 5th, was an amazing celebration with over 45,000 fans in person and millions online. A statement by his family states: “It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love.”
