The Topsfield fair, commonly known for its food, rides and fun, also holds a fine art exhibit in which Danvers High School students annually enter to display their art and potentially win ribbons. All DHS students entered into the division titled Amateur Fine Arts.
For her piece, Fear of Flight, DHS senior Bella Drakos won an Honorable Mention. Freshman Leila Sanidas also won an Honorable Mention for her piece, Scream.
Junior Violet Buckley won Third Place for her piece, Cascading Silhouettes.
For her piece titled Leaving, DHS senior Ruth Gazinowski won both Best of Category and Best of Show. She also completed a live painting demonstration at the fair on Sunday, October 5th.
