Falconize, DHS’ mixed a cappella group, is performing four arrangements. Their first arrangement is “Still Rolling Stones” by Lauren Daigle, soloed by junior Brooke Willichoski.
They are bringing back their arrangement of “Colder Weather” by Zac Brown Band, soloed by senior Kaelin Hampe. Another song that they’re bringing back, “Better When I’m Dancing” by Megan Trainer, is soloed by junior Hope Panagoulias. They’re also bringing back their classic arrangement of “You Give Love a Bad Name.”
DHS’ treble a cappella group, Skywave, will also be performing. One of their songs is an arrangement of “Waves” by Dean Lewis, soloed by freshman Layla Dupont. Their second arrangement is “The Other Side” by Bruno Mars featuring B.o.B. and CeeLo Green. “The Other Side” will be a duet between freshman Olivia Lottman and senior Ella Guitard (myself), also featuring freshman Teresa Guitard. All freshmen mentioned are performing their first solos within the group.
Skywave’s arrangement of the theme song for the Disney Channel show Shake It Up is returning, with sophomore Katelyn Rosa returning as its soloist. Also returning is Skywave’s medley arrangement consisting of many popular songs such as “Hello” by Adele, “Africa” by Toto, “Paparazzi” by Lady Gaga, “She Will Be Loved” by Maroon 5, “Poker Face” by Lady Gaga, “Firework” by Katy Perry, and more.
