The Flying Onion is pleased to introduce a new segment, First-Rate Falcons. This semi-regular column will announce and wish good tidings to staff members who’ve recently made or had positive accomplishments or additions to their lives.
In these past few months, our talented and dedicated DHS staff have had countless events to celebrate.
Well loved history teacher and unified basketball co-coach, Mr. P.J. Ziemba celebrated his recent marriage. DHS students and faculty are beyond happy for him and his wife and wish them the best!
Clever math teacher Mr. Tofer Carlson had his wedding this October. DHS students and staff are very excited for him and his wife.
Science teacher and everyone’s favorite track coach, Mr. Alex Carroll recently celebrated the birth of his little girl, Cecilia Carroll. She was born in September and DHS is thrilled for him and his wife.
And fellow science teacher, Mr. Joe Picard celebrated the birth of his baby boy, Owen Micheal Picard on September 11th. Danvers High students and teachers are ecstatic for his wife and him.
Lastly, DHS social worker Ms. Emily Goncalves finished in the New York City Marathon! This accomplishment is beyond exciting for her and the DHS community.
Overall, the Flying Onion and Danvers High as a whole is thrilled for everyone’s great successes and are extremely proud of them.
